The Xerox Engineering Center's prime mission is to provide the technology integration conduit and generic development infrastructure for the Xerox business groups. The XEC leads the incubation of strategic product platforms and the provision of essential product development services across BGO. These services include human factors, industrial design, product life management tools, engineering training and design support for security, access, internationalization and localization.
Underlying the XEC operations are major initiatives in innovation, globalization, and productivity via the application of the Design for Lean Six Sigma methods.
